Do you need subtitles on the Sky Go app? No worries, they're available for both Live TV and On-Demand content. Here's how to find them:
- On a Mobile or Tablet
- Method 1: Locate the settings cog and select it.
To activate subtitles on your viewing device, simply follow these steps. First, select the ‘Subtitles’ option, then choose ‘On’. If you wish to disable them at any point, select ‘None’. Whenever subtitles are available, they will automatically display on your screen.
Alternatively, you can activate subtitles by accessing player controls through the three dots option. From here, select ‘Subtitles’ and the preferred language. These subtitles will remain active for the duration of your program.
If you are watching on a laptop or computer using Windows or Mac systems, open player controls by selecting the three dots. Once again, choose ‘Subtitles’ and the desired language. This will enable subtitles for the entirety of your program.
Please note that subtitles are not available for live TV or on-demand content in the Sky Kids app, nor for on-demand content rented from the Sky Store section of your set-top box. Additionally, Sky Go does not currently support content from Channel 4, though it may indicate that subtitles are available with an “S” symbol. Sky is currently working on implementing this feature in the future.
