Sophie Ellis Bextor brings her Kitchen Disco to John Lewis Liverpool for Eurovision Experien...
She will be hosting her Kitchen Disco in the most ideal spot available – the kitchen department at John Lewis!
Sophie gained fame for her Kitchen Discos during the lockdown, bringing joy to everyone's days with a continuous stream of uplifting tunes from her own family's kitchen.
The concept was such a tremendous success that she continued hosting them live, and now Liverpool shoppers have the opportunity to be a part of a special Eurovision edition on Thursday, May 11.
Sophie will be teaming up with a DJ to host her Kitchen Disco from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM, and it's open to all, so anyone can simply join in and dance along.

This is just one of the many Eurovision-themed offerings lined up at Liverpool ONE from Tuesday, May 9 to Saturday, May 13, including live music, DJs, glitter face painting, and sparkling beverages.
Jackie Wild, Events and Marketing Coordinator at John Lewis Liverpool, believes it's a fantastic way for everyone to get involved and feel the Eurovision excitement that is spreading throughout the city.
"Even if they're not attending any of the major events or going to the Arena, we want our customers to be able to come in and still experience the Eurovision atmosphere," she says. "The town will have an incredible ambiance, and I'm certain that even if you're not particularly interested in Eurovision, you'll be swept away by such a delightful atmosphere because it will be everywhere."
In addition to Sophie Ellis Bextor's Kitchen Disco, here are some other highlights to watch out for at John Lewis next week…
Firstly, there will be two opportunities to add some sparkle on the first floor. You can visit a complimentary glitter makeup station where everyone can enjoy a free glitter makeover, and there will also be a fizz bar where you can indulge in a glass of bubbles.
On the ground floor, an In Demand Radio DJ will keep the cheesy classics playing all afternoon, and you can try your luck by spinning the wheel for a chance to win a prize. Additionally, on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, make sure not to miss the opportunity to take a Eurovision-inspired photo. Once you're covered in glitter, there will be a selfie mirror in-store that can send the photo directly to your phone as a keepsake.
To build excitement for the grand final, In Demand Radio will broadcast live from the store on Friday and Saturday, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on both days.
The legendary Jemini, Liverpool's Eurovision entry from 2003 with "Cry Baby," will make a guest appearance on Wednesday, May 10.
The Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Party Bus will make a special stop, courtesy of John Lewis, between the ground floor store entrance and the Hilton hotel, near the bottom of the steps, on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. You can hop on board the double-decker bus, adorned in CT's signature rose gold.

John Lewis is also showing support for local artisans by inviting them to set up pop-up shops in its Eurovision hub, located at the bottom of the escalators on the ground floor. You can find Murphy's Gin, who have created a special Eurovision 2023 gin for the contest, as well as Think Wine, and Liverpool artists Grace Emily, Jenny Dunlop, and Sophie Green.
Talented students from LIPA sixth form college will perform on Tuesday morning and Thursday, along with Sing Me Merseyside, Rainbow Chorus, Alder Hey Children's Choir, and the Rochdale Ukrainian Choir, who will be collecting donations for the Big Help Project, an organization that assists the Ukrainian community in Liverpool.
"We are hosting this on behalf of Ukraine, and we want to make them proud. At John Lewis, we are genuinely excited to do so," adds Jackie. "There is no better place in the world than Liverpool to give everyone that warm welcome they deserve.
