How to get in touch with someone at Evri or MyHermes
When things go wrong, Evri, formerly known as Hermes, does not have a good reputation. Our Hermes delivery guy is fantastic, but when it comes to sending eBay or Vinted parcels, WOW do things go wrong. Obtaining a Myhermes contact can be nearly impossible, so I put on my detective hat and dug up their contact information for you.
We were already an online-shopping nation, but the COVID-19 pandemic has caused many of us to shop online more than ever before.
If you shop online, you've probably come across Myhermes/Hermes/Evri because many well-known retailers use them as a delivery partner.
When things go right, they're fine, but every now and then (pun intended), things go horribly wrong.
Our local Evri delivery person is currently unavailable, and parcels for THREE villages are being held at the depot while they scramble to find a driver to deliver parcels. My parcels are only 5 days late so far, but who knows when this will be resolved?
Hermes is renamed Evri.
Hermes changed their name to Evri in March 2022.
Let's assume you're looking for a phone number for Hermes/Evri because not everyone adores them.
Take a look at some of these amusing and irritated tweets:
Hermes has rebranded itself as the most singable brand ever.
"If you received a package, it was broken or late."
It's the Evri brand you'll despise. "
Feel free to contribute your own verses.

Because Evri fucking parcel goes missing, Hermes has changed their name to Evri.

It's convenient that Hermes has changed their name to Evri, because Evri's parcel goes missing and Evri's delivery driver doesn't know how to use a doorbell.

It turns out that changing your name from 'Hermes' to 'Evri' has no effect on the service pic.twitter.com/c3OJUvVKGu

If you're worried that the Hermes name change to Evri will mean big changes, don't be. (I delivered my partner's eBay item to the wrong address, and it was smashed when we arrived.) )

Hermes has renamed itself Evri, and there was a Facebook advertisement touting how great of a company they are. When I say I laughed out loud at this comment, I mean it.
P.S. I have no issues with my delivery driver pic.twitter.com/eLVmB1edTU

It's great to see that the name change has immediately improved the service.

It's great to see Evri living up to the Hermes name. How can a box of toilet paper become irreparably damaged?
Also, why is it my responsibility to organize a new one? Surely, they should be feeding that back to themselves. @WhoGivesACrapTP #Hermes #evri pic.twitter.com/jixjc6dfmo

The corruption at Hermes, formerly known as Evri, appears to be at the top of the hierarchy, in my opinion. If an item is not delivered, a manager tells an employee to act stupid. There is no human customer service via phone or chat. Martijn de Lange does all of his shopping through Hermes? Just a question

Today I saw an advertisement for #Evri, the rebranding of #Hermes. It showed a delivery driver knocking on someone's door.
Is that really how low the bar was set for it to be noteworthy? 😂🤦♂️

However, did you know that many of the UK's top retail brands, including ASOS, boohoo, Missguided, PrettyLittleThing, John Lewis, Debenhams, eBay, and Amazon, use Hermes / Evri?
My most recent contact with Evri
I've been purging and selling some Hot Wheels Monster Trucks on eBay.
They were ones I bought for a friend's son, but they turned out to be duplicates of ones he already had.
After purchasing them from a variety of stores and even Facebook Marketplace, it was easier to list them as a group on eBay to recoup some of the money than to try to return them.
No problem - I listed them as a small buy it now bundle, sent an offer to the watchers, and they sold, yay!
I mostly use Evri to send my parcels because, despite their bad reputation, it is extremely convenient for me and less expensive than Royal Mail.
Furthermore, I live in a village where the local Post Office closes for an hour every day for lunch, whereas the parcelshop where I drop off Evri parcels is open until 9 p.m. and I pass it most days on my way to the gym, town, a supermarket, and so on.
Anyway, long story short, the parcel never arrived at its destination, and the tracking indicated an error due to the tracking number and postcode not matching.
I was obviously concerned about contacting Evri because I'd heard the horror stories. I dreaded the task and put it off for a few days, but then I realized it was time.
Bracing myself, I picked up the phone and dialed the phone number listed in this blog post to explain the situation.
Just a few hours later, I received an email with the lost mail claim form to complete.
The claim is still being processed - Evri will refund me the amount I refunded the buyer as well as the postage I paid, but I am still missing several Hot Wheels Monster Trucks, which is unfortunate.
It demonstrates that by following the steps outlined below, you CAN speak with a human at Evri.
Please contact Evri or Hermes.
To begin your inquiry, go to their help and support page.
From here, depending on the day of the week, the wind direction, how the stars align, and the daily tides, you will be able to contact Myhermes. You could talk to a bot, talk to a human, or send an email that never gets answered.

Our preferred mailing supplies
I enjoy selling my unwanted items on eBay and Vinted, so there is always something new to post. Over the years, I've discovered my favorite mailing supplies, which are all available on Amazon.
Contact Evri Myhermes to speak with a live person.
If you prefer to speak with someone directly about your problem, call Evri at 0330 808 5456.
You must follow the automated menu system (and you may require parcel information such as tracking).
Mitsy left us a great tip for contacting Evri using this number in the comments:
The only way I've found to actually speak to someone is for the sender to contact them, they select the option for a parcel that has been delivered, and once the automated system confirms the parcel has been delivered, you have the option to speak to a human. This is when you use the actual tracking number for the parcel in question. I know it appears counterintuitive, but it works, or did in September 2022.
Contact Evri MyHermes via live chat
Finding the Evri Hermes live chat these days can take you down a rabbit hole with some broken links and pages that aren't working as they should.
For example, at the time of writing, this Evri Myhermes contact link will take you on a wild goose chase.
Mo shared this fantastic walkaround in the comments:
Thank you for doing this. For those who tried this method with a Vinted parcel, when you call and go through the steps, it will ask if you want to speak with someone about your parcel.
When you say "Yes," it will then say, "I see this is a Vinted parcel, so you will have to speak to them directly," and you will not be able to communicate with them.
I just got through the Evri help center's "live chat" (which really means "robot chat") and got to the point where I could leave an email address and/or phone number. So far, this is the closest I've gotten to Evri. These are the choices I made:
"It's about something else," says one.
3-> "Website technical problem i" e payment or account label"
4-> "I'm having trouble with a label or an order."
5-> "Problem with a print in store label"
6-> “No It's something different."
7-> "I did not receive an order confirmation email."
At this point, I have the option of providing my email address, describing the problem, and leaving my phone number.
I'm hoping to hear from someone soon. I know it's a long way around and probably not worth it for most people, but these companies really take the piss.
I hope this is useful to someone.
Email Evri Myhermes
You can contact Hermes customer service at [email protected].
However, in the comments, Steve stated:
[email protected] is no longer a valid contact email address. This happened within the last six weeks.
"...Thank you for getting in touch with Evri." If you have a question about a parcel, please visit https://www.evri.com/help-and-support/help-centre#/ where you can use our Digital Assistant, Holly, to log an enquiry with Customer Services or she will point you in the right direction..."
Guess what I have an insurance claim for? The Digital Assistant DID NOT HELP ME.
Email the CEO of Evri Hermes
Martijn de Lange is the CEO of Hermes and has been with the company for over 8 years.
While I don't believe Martijn is waiting for me to complain about my missing parcel, others have reported finding it extremely effective to email him every single day with their problem in order to get a faster resolution.
Martijn can be reached via email at [email protected].
The Hermes website says the following about him:
Martijn, who was born in Holland, moved to the United Kingdom in 2006 to establish TNT Post North Ltd. , after which he became TNT Post's Operations Director. Martijn joined Hermes in 2013 as Operations Director, and after promotions to COO and Managing Director, he was named CEO of Hermes UK in November 2017. Hermes UK announced on March 11, 2022, that it will rebrand as 'Evri,' with a new logo and brand identity that will be rolled out across all of its locations, vehicles, and ParcelShops.

Customer testimonials from Evri
I asked some Evri customers for their stories, and they did not disappoint.
When we were doing our extension and the side gate was closed, my Hermes driver would drop me off around the back. He used to include little notes with the packages...
"It's coming along nicely" "I love the new island" "looks like you'll be finished in time for Christmas" - I was more excited about the notes than the parcels. Sarah
I'd had my second c-section when my youngest was born, so I couldn't move very well for the first week.
I recall sitting on the sofa, breast-feeding the baby while my then-toddler grabbed my other boob, feeling left out. I was dressed in a dressing gown... and almost nothing else, all hanging out
The delivery man walked right into the front room, without knocking, and placed my package on the other sofa.
I was too stunned to say anything, and he was clearly too stunned to speak.
He simply walked away.
(Because my neighbor has a porch, mine appears to be a porch but is actually just an extension leading straight into the house, with an annoying front door that you can just open unless locked from inside.) Emmy's Mother
I moved to a small village where everyone knows everyone else. Because I work from home, I've invested in some cool loungewear: knitted, cotton, shorts: you name it, I've got it. As a blogger, I get deliveries almost every day (especially during lockdown), and he always arrives in the early afternoon. After about 3 weeks, he finally burst out and asked me directly: do you always wear pyjamas? I couldn't help but laugh. I was so pleased with my "loungewear." And I was disappointed that he didn't recognize my sense of style. Don't Mess With My Look.
I sold a suit on eBay and had it shipped by Hermes. The parcel had been opened, and the suit had been replaced with a filthy, scrunched-up, and frankly, quite cheap and nasty dress. My customer was dissatisfied because she had purchased the suit for an upcoming interview. Hermes refunded the cost of postage and the suit's purchase price, but they didn't seem to care and made no mention of an investigation into whodunit. Just a few weeks later, I sent two purses in one package, which was also opened and one purse was removed. After that, I returned to Royal Mail. Articles that are valid
Omg, they're currently driving me insane. I ordered two parcels from a retailer, and both times I was at home, they texted to say it was left in a safe place, which is some outhouse with a washing machine, which is not my house. On both occasions, I stood outside my door waiting for the delivery, but they never arrived. Every time I email to say it isn't my house, they tell me to contact the retailer for a replacement or refund because they have definitely delivered to my house. It's driving me insane, and I've decided not to order from them again because I never receive my parcels, despite the fact that they seem content to trust the word of the Hermes delivery person over mine. Camping vs. Glamping
I've sent a lot of parcels through Hermes over the years, and most of the time everything goes smoothly. When they do go wrong, they seem to go royally wrong.
One example is when items are dropped off at a parcelshop and the tracking never updates, resulting in the items never reaching the buyer. This has happened to me three times now. Hermes did not issue refunds because they did not appear to be scanned in.
I've also sent items that were badly damaged despite being well-packaged. In both of these cases, I was able to receive compensation from Hermes.
In terms of deliveries, our Hermes delivery driver is fantastic, and we've had no problems at all.
