Tonight is the night The biggest names in music will gather in Los Angeles later this year for the Grammy Awards 2023, which will honor the best albums and artists of the previous year.
Trevor Noah, a stand-up comedian and former The Daily Show host, will host the evening, which will feature live performances by Harry Styles, Lizzo, and Sam Smith, among others.
During a special In Memoriam section, viewers can also expect a moving tribute to music icons who died in 2022, such as Loretta Lynn, Fleetwood Mac's Christie McVie, and Migos star Takeoff.
Of course, the main event will be the awards, which will feature a stellar lineup of talent this year, including Doja Cat, Steve Lacy, Beyoncé, Adele, ABBA, and Kendrick Lamar.
Wet Leg is one of several acts representing the UK on an international stage, with the Isle of Wight indie band riding high after their debut album was certified gold and shortlisted for the Mercury Music Prize.
"Well, it's so strange to see us nominated, for one thing," co-founder Rhian Teasdale told the Grammys. Then it's strange to see us sandwiched between Karen O [of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs] and Björk in the Alternative Album [category] — all these really legitimate artists. "
Beyoncé has received the most nominations this year, with nine for her Renaissance tracks, which has only increased the extreme demand for tickets to her corresponding tour, which has been reaching astronomical prices online.
The Grammys are one of the highlights of an exciting time in the entertainment industry, which also includes other glitzy awards shows like the Academy Awards and the BAFTAs.

The Grammy Awards will be held on Sunday, February 5th, 2023, from 8pm-11:30pm ET (1am-4:30am UK time), with music's biggest stars expected to attend. com Arena for their 65th anniversary
The full list of nominees was released on November 15, 2022, ahead of the big event, with Beyoncé leading the pack. The major categories and nominations are listed below.
The Grammy Awards will once again be broadcast on CBS in the United States. They will also be streamed live and on demand through Paramount Plus.
Though Paramount Plus is now available in the United Kingdom, it has yet to be determined whether the 2023 event will be broadcast on our region's version of the platform.
Fortunately, UK music fans can still watch the Grammys livestream by going to live.grammy.com.
But be warned: it's a big commitment, with the main stream not starting until 1am GMT. It will then last the rest of the night, with the final trophy being awarded around 4:30 a.m. GMT.
