Our curtain widths range from 117cm (46 inches), 168cm (66 inches), 228cm (90 inches), 284cm (112 inches), to 345cm (136 inches). In addition, we offer lengths of 137cm (54 inches), 182cm (72 inches), 228cm (90 inches), and 274cm (108 inches).
If you need to measure for curtains without a pole installed, don't worry. Measure the width of your window and add 20cms (approx. 8 inches) to both sides to account for brackets and finials. Check out our guide to measuring for curtain poles and tracks for further assistance.
For curtain tracks, it's important to measure the width of the recess using a steel metal tape measure. If you plan on fitting the curtain track in the recess, this measurement is the required length of the track. If you're fitting it outside the recess, add an additional 10cms (4 inches) on either side to allow for curtain gathering. To achieve fullness in your curtains, it's recommended to have at least twice the width of your window, but potentially more. Double the width for standard fullness, 2.5 times the width for deluxe fullness, and three times the width for ultra-fulness. Consider the type of room your curtains are located in, the weight of the fabric, and the purpose of the curtains when deciding on the desired fullness.

If your curtains are too long, measure an extra 5cms (2 inches) from where you want them to end and use a pair of high-quality fabric scissors to cut off the excess material. Fold up the bottom 2.5cms (1 inch) and iron it to keep it in place. Repeat the process, fold up another 2.5cms (1 inch) and iron it again. Pin and sew or use no-sew bonding tape.
