Your cancellation rights
Flex rate
Room reservations can be canceled before 1pm on the arrival date in the United Kingdom (UK). If you cancel your reservation before 1pm on the day of arrival and have paid for the room in advance with a debit/credit card, you will receive a full refund. A full refund will be issued to the same debit/credit card before 9 a.m. the following business day, though it may take a few days for the funds to reach your account. A cancellation reference will be provided, which should be kept as proof of cancellation. If you cancel a reservation after 1pm UK time on the day of arrival (including any "no shows") and have not already paid for the room, you will be charged a cancellation fee equal to one night's total accommodation per room booked, as well as any meals and other services. extras reserved for your first night's stay (for example, dinner) breakfast (the following morning) and (as applicable) Ultimate Wi-Fi) A cancellation reference will be provided, which should be kept as proof of cancellation. Semi-Flex rate room bookings may be canceled before midnight UK time three days before the arrival date, (e.g. g You have until 11 a.m. on Saturday to cancel a stay. 59 p.m. UK time on the Tuesday preceding) If you cancel your reservation within the cancellation period, a full refund will usually be processed the next working day to the same debit/credit card, though it may take a few days for the funds to reach your account. A cancellation reference will be provided, which should be kept as proof of cancellation.
Advance rate room reservations may be canceled up to twenty-eight days before the arrival date, (e) g You have until 11 a.m. on Saturday to cancel a stay. Friday, four weeks prior, at 59 p.m. UK time) If you cancel your reservation within the cancellation period, a full refund will usually be processed the next working day to the same debit/credit card, though it may take a few days for the funds to reach your account. A cancellation reference will be provided, which should be kept as proof of cancellation.
Standard rate room bookings may be cancelled (i) within 24 hours of making a reservation, or (ii) before 1pm on the day of arrival if made less than 24 hours in advance. If you cancel your reservation within the cancellation period, a full refund will usually be processed the next working day to the same debit/credit card, though it may take a few days for the funds to reach your account. A cancellation reference will be provided, which should be kept as proof of cancellation. After the cancellation period, the entire reservation, including any associated meals and/or extras, becomes fully non-refundable. This cancellation fee is intended to compensate the hotel for the late cancellation and does not cover any services.
Non-flex rate room reservations cannot be cancelled or amended for any reason. To be clear, the room(s), any associated meals, and/or other extras cannot be cancelled, amended, or refunded (including any "no shows"). This cancellation fee is intended to compensate the hotel and is not for any service.
If you've made a group reservation, our cancellation policy is as follows:
- We will require full payment 14 days before arrival for rooms with 14 or fewer rooms. This is non-refundable, but you can cancel your reservation for free if you cancel before this time.
- We will require a 50% deposit 28 days before arrival and the balance 14 days before arrival for groups of 15 or more rooms. These payments are non-refundable, but you can cancel your reservation for free if you cancel before we collect a deposit.
If you cancel (including "no shows") a group booking and we retain a non-refundable payment, this total amount is a cancellation charge to compensate the hotel for the cancellation and is not for any service.
Our cancellation rights
Your infringement
We may cancel your reservation with immediate effect at any time by providing you with written notice (which includes email) if:
- You fail to pay us when you are required to; or
- In any way, you violate our contract; or
- You have previously violated our contract in any way.
If we cancel your reservation due to your error, we reserve our legal rights in relation to your breach of contract. If your stay has not yet begun, the total payment made or to be made by you for such room shall be considered a cancellation charge and is not for any service.
Events beyond our control We may also cancel your reservation if an event beyond our control (such as industrial action, explosion, disease outbreak, health and safety issues, fire, flooding, failure of power and/or water supplies, or emergency evacuation) prevents us from making your room available to you. In this case, we will contact you as soon as possible to inform you and:
- If you have already paid for your room, we will refund your money; otherwise,
- You will not be required to make any payment to us if you have not yet paid for your room.
Except as stated above, we will not be liable or responsible for any failure or delay in performing any of our obligations that is caused by an event beyond our control. This has no bearing on your statutory rights.
